Celebrate the Season with Intention
Gratitude Changes Everything.
Creating Meaningful Holiday Moments

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday! The festivities, the decorations, the music, baking cookies. Red, white, and green; the colors. Snowmen. Sleds. Christmas movies. Egg nog. The bell ringers. The whole season–it has a look and feel to it.
The kitchy look, I love it! The feeling can be so many things. I love the peace on earth and goodwill to men “vibes” that go around this time of year.

December 25th is a day on the calendar. It’s the day the world “celebrates”, with great anticipation leading. Somehow the color theme, music, eggnog, cookies, pine trees, wrapping gifts; has been made “traditional”.
The pinpoint of a certain day on the calendar. Was Jesus really born on December 25th? Who knows. And what does snowman wrapping paper have to do with it?
Christmas seems cliche and it is so extremely capitalized. There’s the “traditions”, and the things we “must do”. Tis the season, right?
To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose. To everything; each person, any place, and in every situation. There’s a reason of hope. We each have a purpose; time is right by our side. The answer within you is willing and able.
None of us were born perfect. The one who is; he’s the reason to celebrate! Jesus is the King of all Kings. The son of righteousness. Almighty God. Prince of Peace. The birth of hope. The answer to life’s questions.
I’m not perfect. Each day I make mistakes. Whether it be consciously, subconsciously, or unconsciously. Daily; I strive to be a better person than I was yesterday. A lifetime of progress for a lifetime of mistakes.
Here’s a classic Charles Dickens quote. “I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.”
May all your days be fulfilled. Each day is a gift from above. A gift of love, wonder, giving, and receiving. Celebrate the present! Cherish all the love, peace, and joy that comes from above. You are so loved! ❤️
