Buy Less, Create More. 15 TIPS FOR CLEANING, ORGANIZING, FRUGAL LIVING, SAVING MONEY: TIP #13

Tip 13 — Do Your Daily Chores

A Clean Home Starts With Small Daily Actions

Make Daily Chores Part of Your Lifestyle

Benefits of a Clean and Maintained Home

Some of my daily tasks include;

  • Taking out trash
  • Loading/unloading dishwasher
  • Wipe counters
  • Wipe stove top
  • Wipe kitchen table
  • Spot cleaning
  • Pick-up/Put away as I go

I vacuum and sweep every 2 or 3 days.

Our little Boston Terriers help out with this part. They “vacuum” all the food crumbs. They’re a great help around the house!

The hardwood floors and bathrooms get scrubbed once a week.

My two biggest tips for a tidy house;

  • Pick-up as you go
  • Never leave dishes in the sink overnight

Wait! One more big tip!

If it takes less than ONE minute
to do; just do it!
Right now!
Don’t put it off.

I wouldn’t call myself “queen of clean”.

Each person has their own standard of cleanliness. Personally, I want to live comfortably in my own home.

The goal is to make our lives feel manageable.

That overwhelming feeling is the pits.

Climb up from that pit. Put some love into that house, and make it a home!

Make a chart, and give yourself some stickers!
