FACT: Every single pound I’ve lost, I did it without a gym membership.
I used to watch probably about 20 to 30 hours of television a week. When I was almost 400lbs, everything was exhausting. All I wanted to do was sit down!
The first step is getting off the couch.. Clean, organize, do some work outside, something to focus and put your mind anywhere else.
Find some sort of physical activity that you love! For me, it is hiking. The excitement of getting on my hiking boots, packing up for the day, and spending the whole day in the beauty of God’s green earth. That’s the kind of living and excitement that you can’t get from binge watching serial killer documentaries.
Now that I am able to fit in roller coasters, I enjoy taking the family to amusement parks. You can get a TON of walking in a theme park! Plan fun “active activities” for the weekend and you WILL lose weight!
I used to take less than 1000 steps on the weekends. Now-a-days, I take anywhere between 5,000 and 10,000 steps every day.
