How I lost 200lbs-The Tip Jar: TIP #4

Prepare by serving size

When making meals, prepare a serving for everyone.

Look at the weight of meat when you’re at the store.

4oz of chicken or ground beef is the actual serving size.

Or 1lb for 4 people.

Or 6oz of lean steak.

Those chicken breasts in the store, they’re actually about 10 or 12oz each! NOT a serving size.

Ordering a 12oz steak at a steakhouse; that’s actually enough for 2 people.

I prepare by serving size on the label.

I don’t make leftovers. (Unless it’s soup or something almost *impossible* to divide up. In that case; I give-away or freeze the rest)

Because when you’re eating one meal a day, odds are you’re probably not gonna want it tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a new day, let’s whip up something different!

Prepare yourself for the RIGHT size!
