Intentionally Unplug.


I don’t know about y’all; but when I’m on my phone

“doing something”.

Everyone and everything around me is ignored.

Seriously.

I can’t hear or see, or engage with anyone/anything else until my phone is put away.

In the last twenty years; we’ve evolved into different species.

The realm between the real world and digital world lies in our hands.

We’ve become so dependable on technology. Anything we’d ever desire to know or want to “find out”; can be “Googled” in a few seconds.

Next time you’re feeling the need to “check” your phone: ask yourself “Is this necessary?”.

Time is a precious gift.
It’s not to be thrown away or wasted.

YOU are a precious gift!
Be present!

A life led with intention and purpose; brings fulfillment in your choices.

Commitment to long term aspirations and goals; gives us a reason to make sound decisions for the betterment of ourselves.

Mindless consumption leaves us wanting for more. These short-term bursts of “joy” never satisfy.

If it’s a boredom cure; you’ll still be bored when you’re done.

One day when I’m old and gray; sitting on the front porch with sweet tea. Reminiscing on life and looking back; I’m not going to wish I spent more time on my phone.

The moments that I’ll remember are the time spent with family and good friends, places I’ve seen, hikes I’ve done, things I’ve survived, crazy adventures we’ve gotten into.

Live intentionally.

With purpose.. It is necessary to do so. Every special moment of your LIFE depends on it. ❤️
