At the height of the pandemic; my online spending was WILD. My Amazon card alone had a $600 to $800 payment due each month. I would be doom-scrolling on Amazon for “fun”.
Fun fact; in the year of 2023.. I made eight online purchases. I bought a battery, chicken bullion, and resorted to Amazon for a few Christmas gifts.
By shopping in a brick and mortar store; you’re physically present.
It’s not a passive way of spending. Walking, interacting, looking, touching, feeling.
Even smelling!
I feel that I can make better decisions with a hands-on approach.
