Jake’s Dream Reggae & Arts Festival
In 2023, I had stumbled upon a Facebook event. A Reggae Festival! And it’s only 30 minutes from home. We MUST go!
Every little thing’s gonna be all Reggae!
At the time, I had never been to a music festival. I was super excited to listen to Reggae all day! And roast hot dogs.

From the gate Before we got to the Glades; driving through farmlands on the outskirts of Bruceton Mills.
“It’s beautiful out here”
We arrived to The Glades Festival Grounds; early Friday morning. At the front gate; A couple of super friendly faces checked us in. We talked for a few minutes and they explained the grounds to us (port-a-potties, tent camping, kids & dogs). Domenick and Dana were extremely helpful! We sincerely knew we were in a good place.

Don’t worry about a Thing!
We began setting up camp. Pitched the tent. Made beds. All the settling in. We got our first visitor! An eight year old girl came over to say “Hi” to our son. This was the first of many formed friendships.
Let’s get together and feel alright!
The camp set up process was finished. I relaxed in the hammock for a bit. The stage music began!

Is this love that I’m feeling?
Let’s get closer to the music! I made my very first trek from the tent area to the stage area. On the way there; I met several awesome people for the first time. The type you can banter about anything and everything to. All around, just down home, good people.
Positive Vibration
Got to have a good vibe!
