I had accidentally stumbled upon Cryptid Mountain Mini Golf. I was making a grocery delivery at Marjorie Gardens; right off Dorsey Avenue.
I saw this establishment;
A new place in town!
I’m a West Virginian. I guess you could call me a “Townie”. Decked up in Gold ‘N Blue; We are known for WVU sports and bars. Come visit our beautiful college town surrounded by mountains. Here you’ll find an abundance of:
- Hot Spots
- Car Washes
- Vape Shops
Seriously, though.. What is the conspiracy?

Morgantown really does not have very many family friendly establishments.

First Impressions
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty busy. The parking was a bit chaotic. We parked next door at the insurance office, which serves as overflow parking.
We opened the door; greeted by lasers and blacklights.
Whoa.. This place is VERY COOL!
Standing in the line, waiting to check-in; I felt like I was somewhere far away. Like, we were all on a family vacation somewhere.
Either Pigeon Forge or Myrtle Beach.
Y’all know what I mean!

For the five of us it was, a little over $60. Which is comparable to most other indoor family fun venues in Morgantown such as:
