Always Committed Everyday.

Stick with it.

The difference between Knowing VS Understanding: PERSEVERANCE

Whether it’s Halloween, Christmas, or your birthday.. You ABSOLUTELY CAN stick with it!

I’ve spent YEARS planning my day around food, and ya know what? I still do!

Today is Halloween! For most, candy is the main course for today. But, let’s close our eyes and pretend it’s Thanksgiving..

Picture it; Sweet turkey aroma filling the house, the Macy’s parade in the background. The whole day is all about food. A meat and nine sides!

Crunch those numbers! My “hack” when there’s an insane amount of choices; is keeping it interesting with a “mega sampler”. One large bite/or two small bites of everything.

Enjoy that special meal! But.. keep it reasonable! Eat until you’re satisfied, being mindful of any other upcoming food coming your way (pumpkin roll, pecan pie, etc).

Learn to be in tune with your stomach.

Remember, we’re eating to fuel our bodies.

Eating to the point where you’re uncomfortable is not the goal!

Always
Committed
EveryDay

Let’s be 100% honest with ourselves.

We know overeating is what got us here.

That “off switch” that you ignore when you’re full but continue to eat.

Or eat when you are just bored, and not actually hungry. That moment when your brain says to your heart “I don’t care. I want it”.

Or worse yet, numb to that thought and eating until you are physically sick at least once a day.

Physically sick at least once a day? Yes. At 370lbs, it’s safe to say I had a food addiction.

This is a commitment. 100% I want it more than anything.

Kind of like the kid who got into recovery, turned around 180, and now he’s helping others in a drug-program.

A recovering alcoholic or drug addict will tell you that some days are harder than others. For a food addict, yes.. Thanksgiving may be hard. A vacation can be difficult for an alcoholic in recovery too. I mean, what’s a vacation without Pina Coladas and buffets?

The point is there is much more to life than feeding into a food addiction. Once you break the chains, you start to realize how free you are!

Reasons build and grow on commitment. Excuses break down and destroy progress.

But, we can’t completely give up food. Which leaves us to eat for our own frame.

So, get on Google, and ask “how much should I weigh for my height?”.

Or ask your Doctor if that’s more your thing.

Choose your goal weight, then COMMIT to eating the appropriate amount of calories EVERYDAY!
