Living Intentionally by Treasuring the Culture Around You
A social-scientific look at culture.
Treasure all things living and breathing.
A muse of culture and lifestyle, and finding differences.
The Language of Goodbye
Mindset VS Culture.
In the collection,
Seek the light
Find the connection.
Dark as night.
Reflect the discovery,
The sun is bright,
How could anyone summary?
Search the world;
The moon chalk white.
Uncover the cove,
Truth is bound,
Found in love,
What we hide, what lies inside;
Keep and store,
Give & Take, eyes are for seeing.
Stop & Listen, to the silence before:
The fibers of being
The hands that weave,
All knit together.
Adore the embodies of culture.
The Meanings of Culture
What is culture?
If you ask me it’s the most interesting word in the English language. The word is moderately new. Branching from old roots.

From a scientific perspective: Humans, as a collection of cells. We kinda are a tall petri dish of culture.
From a social perspective:
Does culture identify who we are?
Each person is different. Identity is unique. A group of like-minded gives us a sense of belonging. Perspectives, beliefs, and common ground make it easier. We’re all in this together, right?
Does common ground pave the way for belonging?
While common ground helps understanding. Uncommon ground helps us understand ourselves.
Culture is more than just the clothes we wear, or how we dress. It’s more than the food we enjoy. Or the music we listen to.

All around the world are many cultures, traditions, and beliefs. What’s customary for me, would be contrary for someone else.
These little differences: the comparison makes a stark contrast. Learning about others, helps us understand ourselves better.
Do you really want to hurt me?

Boy George and the Culture Club were a blast of “pop culture” in the 80s. The outfits, the style, and the synth. Sure, “Karma Chameleon” has all the eighties “vibes”. Vibe is not culture.
Language is a gift we’re born with. Passed down from our parents, from generations. Our native tongue is given. The way we speak, think, express, and react. Mindset is not culture.
The Language of Goodbye
For English-speaking: Goodbye means “God Be with you”. And we wonder why so many people “hate goodbyes”.

All over the globe: There’s different customs, beliefs, and religions. Each “departure” is a blessing given. A prayer for parting ways. Words hold value. Religion is not culture.
‘Culture Shock’: The Hebrew word for ‘culture’
In the span from beginning to end. In all of mankind. The plethora of cultures, traditions, upbringings, hopes, dreams, goals, and plans. In all of history, to this present day. To who you are.
Your language, race, and ethnicity. It kind of defines us. But there’s much more beneath every surface.
It’s amazing to think in all of time, your place, the people you meet, and things that belong. To each their own, it’s something that is so infinitely unique.
The culmination of one and many.
Culture is a way of life;
Each life is different.
Treasure the way.
From birth through childhood, into adulthood, to old age. The collection is in the Connection.
Life is a gift.
Each day given to us shall be received.
Gather in good company.

Make an effort.
