Tip 15: Front and Center | Organize Your Home by What You Use Most

Keep Rarely Used Items in the Back and Essentials Within Reach

After cleaning and doing work; you’ve got a “keep” box.

Bring to mind the “department store method” of organizing.

Make your departments.

In each department;
A place for everything, and everything has a place.

My spice cabinet for example;

Left side: Sweet
Ride side: Savory

Here’s a breakdown of my savory-side;

In the back, things I rarely use: Herbes de provence, lemon pepper, chili powder, Nashville hot seasoning, bay leaves

In the middle, things I sometimes use; Greek seasoning, burger seasoning, paprika,bcumin, red pepper flakes

Front and center, things I use most often; black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, parsley, seasoned salt

Simply put; If you use it often, put it first. If you rarely use it, put it in the back.

Most important of all; always put it right back in the proper place! Skipping this step leads back to the cycle we’re trying to break!

Let’s break this messy cycle!

Put it back!
